Landvetter Kata Open 2025 (SE)

The Landvetter Kata Open in Sweden was a fantastic, very friendly and superbly organised tournament. Sensei Nathalie, Senpais Giovi, Mia and Eric judged in the morning. All the referees were treated to a lunch prepared especially for them (bento box from a top chef!) and presented with a special beer in a lovingly designed bag.

Many of our karatekas secured podium places after three rounds. The intensive training before the tournament was definitely worth it. The two KKUS dojos from Ebikon and Winterthur represented Switzerland well and achieved some great successes.

A big thank you goes to our tireless coaches, who encouraged, accompanied and looked after our karatekas.
