Trimmiser Cup - Swiss Open

It was a long day filled with competition at the newly renamed Swiss Open Kyokushinkai Kan (formerly the Trimmis Cup)!

For children and youths up to age 16, judging was conducted using a flag system in a knockout format, while a scoring system was used for those over 16. Bo-kata performances were generally evaluated using scores. Despite intensive preparation, not everyone made it to the podium; some categories were very large, making it difficult to reach the top spots, while in other cases, nerves simply got the better of the competitors. Far more important, however, is the fact that everyone gave their all and performed on the mat with great focus and enthusiasm.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all the coaches for their fantastic support of the competitors, and to all the referees who officiated for either the full day or half the day. And, of course, a huge thank you to Shihan Yves Mathis and his team for organizing this tournament and giving us the opportunity to test our skills against others on the mat.
