Winterthur Anniversary Summer Festival

The anniversary summer party hosted by the Winterthur club branch brought together many active members of all generations alongside external guests—including karate friends from Ebikon, Flums, and St. Gallen. The celebration took place amidst sweltering heat and humid conditions at the Nägelsee recreational area in Winterthur. The heat was made more bearable by a sprinkler system, which was particularly enjoyed by the many children present. Former club member Cyrill provided the catering, treating guests to delicious salads, hamburgers on homemade buns, and a massive anniversary cake. A wide array of desserts contributed by club members rounded off the excellent spread.

A huge thank you goes to our co-presidents, Giovanni and Eric, who organized this anniversary event with great passion and dedicated countless hours to making it happen. Thanks also to Cyrill’s partner and the volunteers who stepped in to help with the washing up and the post-party cleanup late into the night.
